Bride Wannabes
Just watched a reality show on TVB called Bride Wannabes. Actually what's wrong with women who stay single? I feel bad for those women who joined the reality show. They are actually quite attractive even without make-up or any special image work. Probably, after the 'training', they are going to be prettier, more expressive, and have more chances to meet guys but it still doesn't guarantee that they are going to be happy and loved forever. A man who really loves you just loves the way you are! Can our media show us a new perspective on single gals? Here is always the stereotyped formula: 1. No Mr. Right. 2. Transform herself into someone prettier (more feminine, more fashionable, fair skin, big eyes ...) and more ladylike (more naive and simple) as if men's prey. 3. Lower the demands and keep devoting herself to a relationship without expecting much from guys. 4. Just simply change herself to be more suitable for men's appetite. 5. Get a man finally. Grrr!!! This is brainwashing women!!! Actually women who don't have a man can be really happy and fun, and do not necessarily have an urgent need to fall in any relationship.

my new kindle
I love reading and writing. If there isn't anything really urgent for me to do, I would really really rather lay back and fetch a book and just go on reading for hours and hours. That's what I really love doing during my vacations, especially near the poolside, on the beach or in the park.
Thank Adrian so much for giving me such a big surprise - Amazon's kindle! It is just a perfect present for me. I just can't help surfing on the kindle store, having an inner urge to buy something. Kindle is a really fantastic reading device and I've got hook on it.
